Why Remove Objects Locally?
Online object removal tools typically require uploading your images to remote servers. This raises privacy concerns, especially for sensitive business materials, client assets, or personal photos. MinoRemove solves this by running AI inference entirely in your browser.
How AI Object Removal Works
AI inpainting reconstructs the area behind unwanted objects using surrounding visual context. When you brush over an object, the model analyzes nearby pixels and generates a natural-looking replacement that matches the surrounding background — textures, colors, lighting, and patterns.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Upload your photo: Drag and drop or click to select a JPG, PNG, or WebP file.
- Select the object: Use the brush tool to paint over the unwanted object. Slightly expand beyond the object edges for better context.
- Preview: Click the Preview button to see the AI-generated result. Use the before/after slider to compare.
- Export: If satisfied, click Export to download the cleaned image at full resolution.
Tips for Best Results
- Expand slightly: Brush slightly beyond the object edges to give the AI more surrounding context.
- One object at a time: For multiple objects, remove them one by one for better control and accuracy.
- Simple backgrounds first: Start with objects on continuous backgrounds (sky, wall, grass) before attempting complex scenes.
- Retry if needed: If the first result shows artifacts, try adjusting your selection area slightly.
Privacy & Security
MinoRemove processes all images locally in your browser. No image data is uploaded to any server. The AI model runs using WebGPU or WASM on your device. You can verify this by opening your browser's Network tab — you'll see zero image data being transmitted.
