MinoRemove ("MinoRemove," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at https://minoremove.com (the "Website") and provides browser-based media editing tools (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit or use our Services. By using MinoRemove, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Our Privacy-First Approach

MinoRemove is designed to process supported media locally in your browser whenever the relevant feature is available.

When you upload a supported image or GIF for local processing:

Your original media file is processed on your device in your web browser.
We do not intentionally upload your original media file to our servers for AI processing.
We do not store, review, sell, or use your uploaded media to train AI models.
Processed files and previews generally remain under your control on your device unless you explicitly use a feature that clearly states otherwise.

Local processing depends on your browser, device capabilities, selected tool, and the version of the Services in use. You are responsible for reviewing any feature-specific notices displayed before using a feature that may involve a third-party service or remote processing.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information.

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, submit feedback, report an issue, subscribe to updates, create an account if account features are offered, or otherwise communicate with us.

Technical and Usage Information

We do not use locally processed uploaded media files to train AI models.

4. Local Media Processing and Data Flow

The core editing functions of MinoRemove are designed to run locally in your browser. The following describes how your media and related data move through the product today.

Where your media is processed

Your selected image or GIF, your mask or selection, and the resulting preview are processed on your device in your web browser.
Your original media is not transmitted to our servers, or to any remote AI inference service, for processing.
A copy of your media may exist temporarily in your browser's memory, in preview canvases, or as a Blob URL while a tool is active. These are local to your device.

Model files

The AI models that repair selected areas are downloaded into your browser and executed locally, typically using WebGPU or WebAssembly.
Requests for model files are normal web requests for static assets. They may carry standard request metadata such as your IP address, browser type, and referrer, but they do not include your media, your mask, or the content you are editing.
Model files are separate from your media; downloading them does not upload your files.

Cloudflare and site infrastructure

MinoRemove is served through Cloudflare, which acts as a reverse proxy, content delivery network, and security layer. Cloudflare may process connection metadata such as your IP address and request headers to deliver and protect the site, but it does not receive the media you edit.

Accounts, credits, and the payment service

Sign-in, account, order, and credit functions are handled by our independent payment and entitlement service.
When you sign in or check your credits, account and entitlement data are sent to that service. Your media, masks, and edits are not sent to the payment service.
The payment service receives billing and entitlement information (such as your account identifier, plan, and credit balance) and does not receive the files you process.

Diagnostics and essential telemetry

To keep tools working, we may collect limited technical diagnostics such as error logs, performance measurements, and capability signals (for example, whether your browser supports WebGPU). These do not include the content of your media.

Blob URLs, caches, and local data lifecycle

While a tool is active, MinoRemove may create in-memory objects, preview canvases, cached assets, or Blob URLs on your device.
Blob URLs and temporary objects are revoked or released after processing completes or when you leave the tool, but some data may remain in browser memory or cache until cleared.
We cannot control or guarantee what your device, browser extensions, operating system, network, or third-party software may independently cache or synchronize.

How to clear your local data

You can reduce local traces at any time by:

Closing the browser tab when you finish
Clearing your browser cache, cookies, local storage, and site data through your browser settings
Deleting any files you downloaded from MinoRemove
Using a private or incognito window for sensitive media

Avoid using shared or public devices for sensitive media.

Future features

Features described as planned or "coming soon" (such as video processing) are not part of the current local data flow and are not represented as available above.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Third Parties

We may use third-party service providers for Website hosting, security, analytics, error monitoring, communications, advertising, payments, or other operational purposes.

These providers may collect information from your browser or device in accordance with their own privacy policies. Depending on the services enabled on the Website, this may include:

Cloud hosting, content delivery, and security providers
Analytics providers
Error monitoring and performance providers
Email or customer-support providers
Payment and entitlement providers

MinoRemove uses a self-hosted Umami analytics instance (umami.bulkpictools.com) to understand anonymized usage such as which tool pages are visited and whether an upload, local AI processing, or export was completed. This Umami instance runs on infrastructure we control and does not receive your source media, mask coordinates, file names, or any pixel-level data. Where your browser or region permits, you can limit this collection through your browser's privacy settings or by blocking the analytics script.

Advertising partners, including Google or other advertising networks

If we display third-party advertising, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this Website or other websites.

We do not sell your uploaded source media files. We do not share locally processed source media files with advertisers for their independent use.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Because core media processing is designed to occur locally, we generally do not retain uploaded source media files on our servers. Information you send to us through support or feedback channels may be retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain appropriate business records.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control.

However, no method of transmission over the internet, electronic storage, or device-based processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device, browser, internet connection, downloads, and account credentials, if applicable.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:

Request access to personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate personal information

Object to or restrict certain processing

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
